Relevant ReUse focuses on creating handmade products, furniture and environments out of reused and recycled materials whenever possible. Every piece is designed and built based on its unique design and the existing capabilities of the chosen materials. Materials are found locally and reused or cast off from local construction, art, industrial production or sports equipment.
Colorado native Heather Mullins is a Denver based artist, educator, and advocate of hands on learning and sustainability. She runs her own art, design and furniture business called Relevant ReUse where she creates products out of of reused and recycled materials including a jewelry line made out of old skis, highlighting the existing color and design of each ski. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008 and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montana State University in 2005.
